Frequently Asked Questions

What is glamping?

Glamping is basically camping made easy. Perfect for those who love to camp but want to avoid the time consuming setup. Perfect for those who love a hotel or AirBNB stay but want a little bit more of an outdoor experience. No setting up a tent because your accommodation is already set up. No need for a sleeping bag because your bed is already made and waiting for you. No need to worry about the weather because your glamping unit is insulated and heated. No need to worry about bringing your camping gas hob as our campers kitchen has got all you need!

Is the site child friendly?

Absolutely, we want the site to be enjoyed by the little ones and them to experience a natural outdoor playground like we used to. Children must be supervised by a parent / guardian when on site.

Are there toilets and showers on site?

Yes. We have a toilet block with male & female toilets and 4 shower cubicles

Are the Glamping units heated?

Yes. One thing you will not have to worry about is heat, all units are well insulated and heated. Our yurts are particularly toasty heated by electric oil filled heaters.

Can we bring our doggie?

Yes. We allow your dog to come if you are camping. Dogs are not allowed for accommodation / glamping bookings unless you book our ‘Yurty And The Tramp’ yurt which is dog friendly. For dogs staying in the ‘Yurty And The Tramp’ yurt, there is an additional charge of €30 extra per dog per stay, to cover the additional cleaning that is necessary. Dogs must be toilet trained, accompanied and kept on a leash at all times. They are not allowed into any other buildings on site. Dogs may sleep inside the yurt at night, but are not allowed onto beds or any soft furnishings. Dog owners are required to bring their own dog beds. We only allow 2 dogs in the yurt at a time.

Those camping are allowed to bring up to 2 dogs at no extra charge. Again, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and kept out of buildings.

All doggie poops must be picked up by the owners.

If your pet is causing any disturbance to other guests or displaying any aggressive behaviour we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
